Yeah ı meant Boğaziçi by saying best university in Turkey but this is just what people think and ı said that. The truth is Boğaziçi is not like what people think, You can figure out real face of the Boğaziçi when you get into it. When people enter the South campus of the Boğaziçi for the first time , they say that they will never leave that campus and everything can be done in this campus in terms of social activities, maintaining life, etc. On the other hand, noone is willing to think of the quality of the education in Boğaziçi University cause we are living in a country where physical appearance is just enough to make a comment about a thing. Quality of Boğaziçi University's education , especially in my department , is not enough and satisfactory at all compared to other ordinary universities (ı can easily say that based on my observations. I want to give an example to make my assumptions true. In civil engineering, students must take a reinforced concrete class and it is very fundamental in civil engineering. We took that class in one term with not detailed information. Other state or private universities take reinforced concrete class in two terms , one being theory , one being project. We took theory and project at the same time. How could it be possible that we can gain detailed information about reinforced concrete in one term? This is just one of examples why Boğaziçi University is not the best to me ). Boğaziçi University just have famuous name which evoke admiration on people when you say Boğaziçi. They are not interested in what is there or what is going on there, just interested in Boğaziçi wowwwww ,( you will becoma a manager when you graduate ). This is totally a misunderstanding. I better cut it short cause ı have a lot to say about this topic but this is not the appropriate place to talk about.

Yeah I hear you. It’s funny because I took the university exam test this year and I was about to go to Boğaziçi too but I missed it, by only 3 points my score was slightly lower than what it required.

But now looking at it, I don’t feel that bad about it as you mentioned above, people go crazy over the name of a school in which you can barely edify yourself without the determination within you, after all its another state
