    "Money can't buy happiness"
Yeah, but it can sure help it along.

It can buy a jet ski, have you ever seen anyone unhappy on a jet ski?

In almost all aspects of life, steady progress beats bursts of energy. The worker who puts in the hours every day beats the worker who crams before the presentation. The athlete that obsessively hones their skills goes farther than the athlete that glides by on natural gifts.
The lesson isn't that slow and steady wins every race, fast and steady usually does. The lesson is that relentless pursuit of a goal is a lot more effective than procrastination mixed with brilliance, and I don't think anyone can deny that truth.

“Yes, but my father said that free advice often turns out to be expensive,” said Tiffany.
Miss Tick sniffed. “You could say this advice is priceless,” she said,
    “Are you listening?”
    “Yes,” said Tiffany.
“Good. Now... if you trust in yourself... ”
    “Yes?”
“... and believe in your dreams... ”
    “Yes?”
“... and follow your star... ” Miss Tick went on.
    “Yes?”
“... you’ll still be beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren’t so lazy. Goodbye.”
― Terry Pratchett, The Wee Free Men

    "Pluto is not a planet."
YOU'LL ALWAYS BE A PLANET TO ME, PLUTO.

    Everything happens for a reason.
I think we look for purpose in struggles and create reasons. The truth is, crap just happens sometimes and it's up to us how we react or move forward from it.

    Existentialism.

"Once you reach the point of financial security, money brings diminishing returns of happiness" is the more accurate version.
